Σιροπιαστιά Τρίγωνα με Κρέμα & Φιστίκι Αιγίνης

Syrup Preparation: Heat all the syrup ingredients in a small pot and boil for 3 minutes once it starts bubbling. Set aside to cool completely.

 

Filo Preparation: Lay out the Filo Dough for Sweets on your work surface with the short side facing you. Cut it vertically into 3 strips.

 

Filling Preparation: In a bowl, mix the walnuts, pistachios, spices, and breadcrumbs together.

 

Assembling the Triangles: Butter two filo strips at a time, place some filling at one end, and fold tightly into a triangle.

 

Place the triangles in a large greased baking tray, butter them well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

 

Baking: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the triangles for 40 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

 

Syrup Application: As soon as the triangles come out of the oven, pour the cold syrup over them using a ladle, making sure to cover them evenly. Sprinkle with additional finely ground pistachios before serving.
